Dental Assistant

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, and help provide quality patient care in a professional and efficient manner. **Duties:** - Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures - Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures - Take and develop dental X-rays - Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures - Maintain accurate patient records - Manage dental supplies and equipment inventory **Requirements:** - Certification or Associate Degree in Dental Assisting - Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization methods - Experience with Dentrix software preferred - Proficiency in medical documentation and recordkeeping - Familiarity with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques - Ability to take vital signs and operate 3D scanners - Prior experience in endodontics is a plus This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic dental practice where patient care is paramount.
