Dental Assistant

**Job Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our dental staff in providing quality oral healthcare to patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for dentistry and patient care. **Responsibilities:** - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs - Take and develop dental x-rays - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices - Maintain accurate patient records **Skills:** - Proficiency in medical terminology - Experience with Dentrix software is a plus - Knowledge of medical coding and HIPAA regulations - Familiarity with pediatric dentistry and prosthodontics - Ability to maintain aseptic techniques during procedures - Understanding of general dentistry procedures - Strong skills in managing medical records and documentation Joining our team as a Dental Assistant offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, enhance your skills, and contribute to improving patients' oral health.
