Dental Assistant

Anchor Dental, located in Portsmouth, NH, is seeking a full time dental assistant to join our energetic team. Hours are Monday and Tuesday 7:30am-6pm Wednesday and Thursday 7:30-5pm CLOSED on Friday. Successful applicant must be team oriented and self motivated.

We are are a busy general dentistry practice that performs sealants, Invisalign, periodontics, dental implant crowns, Itero scanning, composite and amalgam restorations, crowns, bridges, and tray bleaching.

Responsibilities

• Seat patient and update health history
• Set up instruments and equipment as needed
• Sterilize instruments
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
• Impressions and lab work as needed
• Provide post-operative care instructions
• Keep the operatory sterilized and organized

Skills

• 1-3 years of dental assisting preferred but not required
• Knowledge of OSHA compliance
• Dentrix knowledge preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication and customer service
• Well-organized, reliable, and dependable
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Radiology certification
