Dental Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our practice. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a compassionate approach, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include:

- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental treatment procedures.

- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.

- Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring comfort and relaxation.

- Take digital dental radiographs (x-rays).

- Provide post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist.

- Assist with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

- Manage supplies and inventory.

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.

- Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, and managing patient records.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or GED

- At least 1 year of dental assisting experience

- CPR certification

Preferred Skills & Experience:

-Radiology certification
