Dental Assistant – St. Petersburg, FL

Our growing dental practice in St. Petersburg is seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. We are a modern, patient-focused office supported by board-certified specialists and experienced dental surgeons, and we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, comprehensive care.

Position Overview:
The Dental Assistant will work chairside alongside our general dentists and specialists, ensuring efficient clinical flow and an exceptional patient experience. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Assist doctors during a wide range of procedures (restorative, surgical, and implant cases preferred)
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories
• Take digital radiographs and intraoral scans
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and infection control standards
• Provide excellent patient communication and education

Qualifications:

• Dental assisting experience required (2+ years preferred)
• EFDA certification a plus
• X-ray certification (Florida compliant)
• Experience with implants or surgical procedures preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Professional demeanor and team-first mindset
