We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dental Assistant with a valid radiology license to join our team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave for approximately six months. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive, patient-focused environment and gain valuable experience in a well-established dental practice.

Responsibilities:

-Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures

-Take dental radiographs

-Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms

-Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures

-Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in computer system

-Follow all infection control and safety protocols

-Provide excellent patient care and communication

Qualifications:

-Active Dental Assistant certification (as required by state of NJ) preferred but not required

-Valid radiology license in NJ required

-Prior dental assisting experience preferred

-Strong organizational and communication skills

-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

-Friendly, professional demeanor

Schedule:

- Monday 9-5

-Tuesday 12-9

-Thursday 10-5

-Friday 10-2

Note: hours can vary daily/weekly.
