Dental Assistant

We are a small private PPO Office located in Placentia CA. We have 2 awesome doctors and are a family general practice office. We are looking for a DA/RDA (experience is a bonus but not a requirement, just out of dental assistant school/program is OK with us, as we will train you here in the office) Must be a team player and willing to learn both front and back office duties, this is a dental assistant position so back office duties are a must. Front office skills are also needed but can be taught, you just have to fit the friendly up beat personality of our office. A good work ethic and a positive attitude is key.

We are a small office with a small staff so being the right fit is most important to us. The pay will vary based upon experience. The position is for Mon Wed Thurs & Fri at our Placentia location. Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during procedures by providing chairside support and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Utilize dental terminology and knowledge of anatomy to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
• Operate 3D scanners and perform X-rays as needed, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Manage patient records and documentation using EMR systems like Dentrix and Eaglesoft.
• Monitor vital signs and assist in pediatric dentistry when required.
• Ensure the dental office is organized and equipped for daily operations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
