Join Our Progressive Practice in Waterville

Our team at Smile Solutions of Maine is excited to welcome a chairside dental assistant to our progressive and growing practice. With three convenient locations in Waterville, Winthrop, and Augusta, we are looking for a positive, caring team player who is eager to learn and contribute to our collaborative environment. Experience is preferred but not required—enthusiasm and a willingness to grow are most important!

Skills Desired

• Chairside assisting experience
• Dental radiography license
• Ability to take alginate impressions and pour models
• Experience assisting with crowns, bridges, root canals, and surgical procedures
• Current CPR certification
• Skilled in adapting to the needs and preferences of multiple providers in a busy dental practice
• Maintain flexibility to float between three locations as operational needs require. Job needs is mostly for the Waterville location

Responsibilities

• Become proficient with sterilization of dental instruments
• Be a good team player and share responsibilities throughout the day
• Communicate clearly before dental procedures and provide patients with accurate pre-op and post-op instructions
• Show compassion and patience during lengthy and complex dental procedures
• Preference given to applicants with previous Dentrix software experience
• Communicate effectively with dental labs and be willing to train on completing some lab work

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
