Dental Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hygiene Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental practitioners in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a solid understanding of general dentistry practices, as well as a commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment in the dental clinic.

Duties

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are prepared and available.
• Assist accelerated hygiene and help hygienist take xrays, polish and floss
• Ensure infection control protocols are followed, including sterilization of instruments and maintaining an aseptic technique.
• Utilize 3D scanning technology for impressions when necessary.
• Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow within the clinic to optimize efficiency.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.

Requirements

• Knowledge of general dentistry principles, dental terminology, and anatomy is essential.
• Understanding of infection control procedures and aseptic techniques is required.
• Proficiency in using 3D scanners is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A valid certification or diploma in Dental Assisting is preferred.
• X-ray certification, polish and floss certification
