Overview

We have an open Dental Assistant position for a skilled, compassionate, and motivated individual. We specialize in endodontics and need a full-time chairside assistant. The job is detailed oriented and patient centered. Our goal is to provide exceptional service for our patients and referring dental offices. Past dental experience is preferred however we are willing to train the right candidate.

Duties

• Assist the endodontist chairside
• Educate patients regarding the many aspects of root canal therapy.
• Taking radiographs
• Record accurate clinical records
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative instructions
• Maintain proper infection control procedures
• Communicate with the team and be flexible

Requirements

• Previous dental experience is preferred
• Proficiency in working with dental software
• Ability to record clinical notes
• Ability to interact with patients in a professional manner and obtain clinical and administrative information from them
• Ability to have or learn excellent sterilization skills
• Ability to learn and understand the instruments, set-ups, and operational procedures

Pay: Can start up to $21.00 per hour or more depending on experience
