Dental Assistant

DaSilva Dental is a general dentistry practice that is looking for a motivated and personable dental assistant to help us provide exceptional dental care to our patients. Candidates should have a strong work ethic, have good communication skills, and be able to work well with the other staff members as a team.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take digital x-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
-Conduct patient assessments, including updating medical history
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations

Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred

Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and sterilization techniques
