Dental Assistant

Our dental practice is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic , reliable , and dependable team player for a part-time dental assisting position. A minimum of 2 years experience is required. Knowledge of Dentrix and Dexis .

Duties include but not limited to:

-Accompanies patients to examination/procedure room and prepares patients for procedures.

-Provide set-up and breakdowns of operatories with proper instruments in accordance with proper sterilization techniques established by office and infection control policies.

-Chairside 4 handed assisiting

- Prepares consent forms.

- Taking x-rays , Panorex, and CT Scans

-Assuring cleanliness and proper stock of necessary supplies.

- Complies with established personal protective equipment requirements necessary for protection against exposure to blood and other potentially infectious body fluids, chemical disinfectants, radiation and other hazardous substances; handles and disposes sharp instruments appropriately.

-Complies with OSHA, HIPAA rules and regulations.

-Must be friendly, able to work in a fast-paced environment

-Must be a self-starter and able to take initiative when learning established office/surgical procedures

Applicant MUST be available to work 2 Saturdays a month.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
