Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms with sterilized instruments and supplies, ensuring aseptic techniques are followed diligently.
• Assist dentists during various procedures including restorations, extractions, and prosthodontic treatments with precision and confidence.
• Take and develop dental X-rays using medical imaging tools while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance to protect patient privacy.
• Maintain infection control standards by adhering to OSHA guidelines and proper sterilization protocols.
• Support the dental team with administrative tasks such as medical documentation and managing medical records accurately.Requirements
• Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with proficiency in dental assisting techniques.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
• Familiarity with EMR systems such as Dentrix or similar platforms is a plus.
• Ability to perform chairside assisting with competence in four-handed dentistry practices and fabrication of temporary crowns. training in X-ray technology; knowledge of infection control practices is essential.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
