Dental Assistant

About the role

We are a friendly, patient-focused general dentistry practice in New Britain, CT seeking a reliable and caring part-time Dental Assistant to join our team. You'll work alongside our dentist and front-desk staff to ensure every patient has a comfortable, positive experience from check-in to checkout. Polish language preferred.

Responsibilities

Seat and prepare patients; take and record medical/dental histories

Assist the dentist chairside during exams, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and other procedures

Take, develop, and mount dental X-rays (digital)

Sterilize and maintain instruments and operatory per OSHA and infection control standards

Maintain accurate patient records using practice management software

Manage supply inventory and assist with ordering as needed

Medical Specialty:

• Radiology

Experience:

• Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
