Dental Assistant

Local family practice looking for a Dental Assistant (EDDA is preferred, but not required), that’s motivated and a team player to join our team. Working days are Monday-Thursday. Friendly smile, good work ethic, team driven, motivated, organized, and always ready to learn.

• Must be certified
• EDDA/ EFDA is preferred
• Experience is preferred [@ least 1 yr]
• Must be willing to work as a team and help others when needed

*Position Duties Include but are not limited to:

• Use X-ray sensor/Taking Clear images
• Taking vitals/ communication with patients
• Alginate Impressions/Temporary Making
• Digital scans with Trios scanner
• Exchanging instruments with Dentist/chair-side assistance
• Oral surgery, fillings, implants, documentation, lab orders, etc
• Ability to educate patients on their dental needs and health/going over at home care
• Planning treatment for patients
• Ability/knowledge to take Pano/ Cone Beam/CT/ Scans
• Ability to set up rooms for proper treatment
• Proper sterilization/ helping to keep our work environment clean and safe
• Answering phones/scheduling
• Calling patients to get them scheduled for treatment/recalls
• Help assist hygienist when needed
• Knowledge/how to use PracticeWorks and DEXIS is a bonus
