Dental Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team in either a part time or full time capacity. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing high-quality dental care to patients.

Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Set up and breakdown operatory post-treatment
- Take and document patient dental history and updates, as well as overall health and medication history
- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
- Perform 3D scanning of teeth
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked operatory

Experience
- Prior experience in dental assisting required
- Knowledge of Dentrix software is a plus but not required
- Understanding of anatomy and vital signs
- Proficiency in using a 3D scanner for dental procedures
- Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques
- Ability to handle medical documentation accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Strong assisting skills and willingness to learn new techniques

-Experience with removables (prosthetics) a plus but not required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
