Dental Assistant

White Cosmetic & Family Dentistry is located in beautiful Goode, VA- Minutes away from Bedford, Forest, and Lynchburg. We are family owned and operated practice that is committed to providing kind and compassionate patient care. We are searching for an experienced dental assistant with a positive attitude, good work ethic, and energetic, compassionate personality to join our already wonderful team. Our focus is providing our patients with outstanding care as well as working together and keeping the office atmosphere positive and fun. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Assisting dentist in all procedures to including: Root Canals, Extractions and oral surgery procedures, Exams, Restorative treatment, Crown and Bridge, and Removable dental prosthetics.
• Making dental impressions both alginate and scanning with our Primescan.
• Taking intra oral photos
• Making crown temporaries
• Child prophys/placing sealants
• Sterilization of instruments
• Taking x-rays (Certification required)
• Lab work- Taking and pouring up impressions
• Cleaning and preparing patient rooms
• Scheduling appointments
• Entering in treatment plans dictated by dentist
• Charting existing and current dental findings.
• Performing various office/administrative tasks as necessary.
• Being a GREAT cooperative team member

Candidates must have dental experience and an understanding of common terminology, instrumentation, and forehanded dentistry.

Our new staff member must be a motivated, compassionate, a team player, and reliable/punctual. They must be comfortable using a computer as our office is digital and knowledge of Dentrix and Sidexis software systems are preferred but not required.

Open to full time or part time candidates.

Pay will be based on experience.
