Our well-established, patient-focused dental practice in Old Town Alexandria is looking for a friendly, motivated, and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team full-time!

What You’ll Do:
As a valued member of our clinical team, you will:
- Assist the doctor in all aspects of general dentistry.
- Obtain diagnostic records (iTero scans, x-rays, photos, impressions).
- Fabricate Essex retainers and study models.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms.
- Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring a comfortable experience.
- Record medical and dental histories and vital signs.
- Assist during examinations and procedures.
- Provide post-operative instructions.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Support inventory management and overall office efficiency. Contribute to patient satisfaction and help the office achieve its goals.
What We’re Looking For:
- 1–2 years of dental assisting experience (general dentistry preferred).
- X-ray certification required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Case presentation skills are a plus.
