Responsibilities
Assist dentists during dental procedures by preparing and passing instruments with precision and efficiency. Manage patient flow by seating patients, taking vital signs, and ensuring their comfort throughout visits. Operate dental equipment such as X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and medical imaging tools while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Eaglesoft. Implement infection control procedures following HIPAA guidelines and aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment. Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing dental receptionist duties, and updating medical records. Provide chairside assistance with procedures in general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry to enhance workflow efficiency.

Requirements
Previous experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred. Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is essential for managing patient data effectively. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical coding is necessary for accurate documentation. Familiarity with infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures is required to uphold safety standards. Ability to perform X-ray procedures and operate advanced dental imaging equipment including 3D scanners. Strong understanding of pediatric dentistry principles and experience working with children is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate seamlessly within a team dedicated to delivering top-tier patient care.
