Dental Assistant

Modern, non-smoking General Dentist office located in north Wilmington is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant. A minimum of 5 years dental experience is required for this position.

Candidates should be very friendly, compassionate, and hardworking.

Expectations:

- X-Ray certification

- Experience with digital X-ray sensors

- Previous experience with Dentrix practice management software

-Experience with i-Tero digital scanner

- Computer skills (email, Microsoft Word)

- Professional appearance, articulate and well spoken

- Effective communication skills

- Driven, motivated ,and enthusiastic personality

- Assisting dentist during procedures

- Interfacing with patients for demographics, medical history, post-visit instructions, dental hygiene education

- Taking impressions

- Support front desk staff with scheduling, answering phones and other tasks as needed

- Ordering supplies

- Prepare operatories and maintain dental equipment (ex: ultrasonic, autoclave, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
