Dental Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, assisting in general dentistry. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Duties

• Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and treatments in general dentistry.
• Prepare and maintain the dental operatory, ensuring all instruments are sterilized and organized according to aseptic technique.
• Take and record vital signs of patients as necessary.
• Manage patient records using Eaglesoft software, including Dental coding for insurance purposes.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Assist with endodontic procedures as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the dental office.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with a strong understanding of general dentistry practice.
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
• Ability to take vital signs accurately.
• Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar dental management software is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
• A commitment to providing compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
