About the Role

Dignity Dental Network is seeking a part-time dental assistant to support care delivery at specified PACE facilities in Hiawatha, Bettendorf, Des Moines, and Waterloo, Iowa.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a mission-driven model serving geriatric and special care patients in a well-organized, team-based clinical environment. We are looking for an assistant who is adaptable, compassionate, efficient, and comfortable supporting high-quality care outside of a traditional private practice setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during patient care at designated facility sites
• Prepare instruments, materials, and operatory workflow
• Support restorative, surgical, and prosthodontic procedures
• Help maintain accurate documentation within the EHR
• Ensure smooth setup, breakdown, and organization for each clinical day
• Deliver compassionate, professional support to older adults and patients with complex care needs

Ideal Candidate

• Dental assisting experience preferred
• Iowa credentials as required
• Strong organizational skills
• Comfortable working with geriatric and special care populations
• Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented
• Experience with surgical or prosthodontic procedures is a plus
