In this role, you’ll play a vital part in keeping our office running smoothly while helping deliver high-quality dental care. You’ll support the dentist clinically and administratively, ensuring every patient feels comfortable, informed, and well cared for.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and welcome patients warmly, creating a friendly and professional atmosphere
- Prepare patients for exams and treatments, ensuring their comfort and confidence
- Set up and break down treatment rooms efficiently
- Select, organize, and sterilize instruments in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Assist the dentist with four-handed dentistry
- Take digital scans (intraoral scanning experience required)
- Fabricate and place temporary crowns (must be able to temp confidently and efficiently)
- Perform lab tasks as instructed
- Provide oral hygiene education and post-operative instructions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked clinical environment
- Schedule appointments and support front office tasks as needed
- Accurately maintain patient records and assist with payment procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant
- Proficiency with digital scanning technology
- Ability to fabricate and adjust temporary crowns independently
- Strong knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization protocols
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
- High school diploma (Dental Assistant certification preferred)
