office hours: tues-thurs 7:30am-5:30pm. (mon-wed 1x a month)

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms
• Assist dentists during various procedures including general dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry with precision and efficiency.
• Provide chairside assistance by handing instruments, managing dental terminology communication, and supporting four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Ensure infection control standards are strictly followed through proper sterilization procedures and adherence to OSHA guidelines.
• X-ray certified (preferred)
• Bilingual (preferred)

Qualifications

• Willing to train the right person looking to change careers.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining patient safety.
• Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely and accurately; certification in radiography preferred.
• Understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
• Experience with pediatric dentistry & orthodontics is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and team members.
• Ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently including scheduling, medical documentation.
