Dental Assistant

Mason Periodontics & Dental Implants is looking for a full-time dental assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, experienced, quality-oriented and energetic. Candidate should have well-rounded clinical skills, exceptional communication skills, knowledge of dental software/computer skills, be a team-player and a self-starter.

You will be working in a completely remodeled and updated office!

Your role:

• Assisting during periodontal surgical procedures such as osseous surgery, extractions, dental implants, biopsies, soft tissue grafts etc.
• Monitoring patient's vital signs during IV sedation.
• Taking CBCT scans and radiographs as needed.
• Reviewing patient care instructions.
• Explaining procedures to patients and reviewing patient education.
• Ordering dental supplies.
• Charting for hygiene.
• Sterilizing and maintaining instruments and equipment.
• Preparing treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies and maintaining a clean environment following aseptic techniques.
• Maintain infection control protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
