Dental Assistant

Established private dental practice in Pinehurst, NC looking for an experienced, dedicated, and FUN Dental Assistant to join our team full time Monday 8:30am to 4:00pm, and Tuesday through Thursday 7:30am to 4:00pm. Candidates should have at least one year of dental assisting experience. Candidates will greet patients, prepare exam rooms, help the dentist during various dental procedures, clean rooms, and replenish supplies.

Dental Assistant Requirements and Qualifications:

· Dental assistant certificate from an accredited program

· One or more years of dental assisting experience

· X-ray certification required

· Excellent understanding of dental hygiene procedures

· Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques

· Familiarity with Clear Aligner Treatments

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Experience with Eaglesoft software a plus

· Time Management

· Team Player

Duties:

• Assisting chair-side
• Taking records, impressions, CBCT and x-rays
• Using computers to update electronic patient records
• Assisting with lab tasks as needed
