Duties
- Assist dentists chairside during endodontic procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and supplies while maintaining strict aseptic techniques
- Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced equipment such as 3D scanners and medical imaging tools
- Manage patient records accurately within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems , ensuring HIPAA compliance for patient privacy
- Collect vital signs and medical history information to support comprehensive patient assessments
- Maintain infection control standards through proper sterilization procedures and adherence to OSHA guidelines
- Support four-handed dentistry practices by working efficiently alongside the dental team to optimize patient care
Experience
- Prior experience working in a dental clinic environment is highly preferred but not required
- Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control protocols is essential
- Hands-on experience with X-ray techniques, medical imaging, and 3D scanning technology
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of medical records and documentation
- Demonstrated ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently while maintaining aseptic technique
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients of all ages and supporting the dental team effectively
