Job Summary

We are looking for an outgoing, warm dental assistant to assist the doctor chairside, sterilize instruments, set up rooms, and take x -rays. Must be comfortable having conversations with patients and making them feel comfortable. 1 year of experience or dental assisting certification is preferred but not required. Duties:

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
• Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use
• Take necessary xrays on patients
• Document in dental records and update records
• Educate patients on dental treatment needed
• Talk with patients and make them feel comfortable
• Handle administrative tasks as needed, such as scheduling patients

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assistant program is preferred
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Great computer skills
• Previous experience assisting in a dental practice is preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
