Dental Assistant

Job Type: Part-Time; (Mon, Tues, Wed with potential for more hours)

Job Summary:

The Filling Station is a family-owned dental practice with Dr. Jeffrey Nash and his daughter Dr. Molly Joseph, which has been proudly serving our community for over 30 years. As a dental assistant, you’ll work closely with our dentists and hygienists to ensure that each visit is smooth, efficient, and comfortable for our patients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include preparing treatment rooms, assisting with a wide range of dental procedures, and ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained. Responsibilities:

• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for procedures
• Assist during a variety of dental procedures
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental X-rays (Certification required)
• Record patient medical histories and treatment information
• Manage patient flow and ensure timely appointments
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical area
• Perform basic lab tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Dental Assistant Certification (preferred)
• X-ray certification
• CPR certification (preferred)
