Dental Assistant

We are in search of a dental assistant (3 days a week) Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday

We work Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. You are expected to begin work between 7:30am and 7:45am for set up and will leave after the last patient leaves, which may be slightly past 5:00pm. You will work alongside our lead dental assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assisting doctor chair-side
• Assisting hygienist when needed
• Set-up and breakdown of operating rooms
• Sterilization
• Documentation
• Expanded functions: such as ability to take alginate impressions, fabricate and cement temporary crowns, pack cord, place sealants.
• Preferred knowledge of use of an intraoral scanner for the lab to create study models, occlusal guards, crowns, and bridges. We will teach you if you are not familiar with one.

Qualifications

Dental assisting experience required.

Must be x-ray certified. We also use CBCT imaging.

We need someone who is poised, compassionate, and committed to dentistry. Must be punctual and able to focus on the sequences of treatment protocols. In today's workforce you need to be computer-savvy, organized, and adaptable.
