Dental Assistant

A rapidly growing, state-of-the-art dental practice is looking for a motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a career-minded individual who has dental experience or a strong desire to learn and grow in the healthcare field.

Applicants with prior dental experience or dental assisting school/training are strongly encouraged to apply and will be considered for a competitive pay rate based on experience.

No dental experience is required for the right candidate. We are willing to train someone who is reliable, motivated, friendly, professional, and able to learn quickly.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Setting up and breaking down operatories
• Sterilizing instruments and maintaining clean treatment rooms
• Assisting dentists and hygienists during procedures
• Taking and entering patient information
• Scheduling appointments
• Answering phone calls from new and existing patients
• Checking patients in and out
• Entering insurance information
• Assisting with billing and other administrative dental tasks
• Helping the office run smoothly in both clinical and front-desk areas

Preferred Qualifications:

• Dental assisting experience or dental assisting school/training
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
• Knowledge of dental terminology is a plus
• Experience with Eaglesoft dental software is a plus
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a busy dental office
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented attitude

Schedule and Pay:

Pay and hours are negotiable depending on experience. We offer competitive pay, with higher pay potential for applicants with more dental experience and skills.

Saturday availability is required.

Please note: This is a long-term position and is not intended as a temporary summer job. Applicants should only apply if they are available to work the established schedule beyond the summer and do not have upcoming school commitments that would interfere with the position.
