Dental Practice looking for a responsible, professional, and friendly dental assistant. Knowledge of Dentrix and Dental Insurances is a REQUIRED. Spanish or Haitian Creole speaker preferred. Please send your resume.
Job Requirements:
- Greeting, seating, and dismissing patients in a timely manner
- Preparing and cleaning operatories for patient treatment
- Assisting in four handed dentistry
- Obtaining digital radiographs
- Familiar with dental terminology and instruments
- Sterilize all instruments and handpieces according to OSHA regulations
- Pouring models and basic lab work
- Helping to maintain a clean and well stocked office
- Monitor and send out all dental laboratory cases
- Ensure laboratory cases are delivered to patients in a timely manner
- Track pending pre-determinations
- Keep inventory up to date and order supplies
- Working with the staff as a team
- Creating an easy and nice flow in the work day
- Assisting with receptionist duties, including but not limited to answering the phone, filing, scheduling appointments (if needed)
