Dental Assistant

We are locally-owned family practice looking for a skilled. Dental Assistant to join our team part-time. No weekends required.

What You'll Do:

• Patient Care: Warmly welcome patients, ensure their comfort during treatments, and provide clear oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
• Clinical Support: Assist the dentist utilizing seamless 4-handed dentistry, carefully select and set up necessary instruments and materials, and undertake lab tasks as instructed.
• Safety & Sterilization: Keep treatment rooms clean, well-stocked, and thoroughly sterilize all instruments in strict accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Office Operations: Support the front desk by scheduling appointments, making patient phone calls, maintaining accurate patient records, and assisting with payment procedures

Required Qualifications:

• Mandatory, active Radiology license.
• Proven, hands-on experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Thorough knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization methods, and safety regulations.
• Strong computer skills and excellent communication abilities.
• A high level of organization, reliability, and attention to detail.

Bonus Skills (Not required, but a great plus!):

• Additional certifications or training (e.g., EFDA).
• Ability to perform regulated, non-surgical tasks such as coronal polishing.
• Familiarity with Dentrix software.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
