Dental Assistant

Join Our Dream Team! Dental Assistant Wanted – Austin/Dripping Springs Area

We’re a privately owned, boutique endodontic practice looking for a Dental Assistant who’s ready to do more than just assist — we want someone who wants to grow with us. Currently we are needing an assistant on Fridays with the opportunity to add more days in time.

Our office has been open just over 2 years, and we’ve built a strong, committed team from the ground up. The dentist is only as strong as their team, and we believe that every member plays a vital role in the patient experience. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for the right person to join us — someone who is not only skilled but passionate, reliable, and eager to be part of something special.

What We’re Looking For:

A candidate who enjoys both chairside assisting and is open to supporting marketing and outreach efforts part-time — with the potential to transition to a full-time role. We’re building a practice culture centered around teamwork, growth, and excellence in patient care.

Ideal Candidate Qualities:

  • Exceptional communicator with patients and teammates
  • Organized, consistent, and dependable
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
  • Willing to cross-train and support the front office
  • Proficient in basic computer software (Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Enthusiastic about helping build a thriving, team-oriented practice

Responsibilities:

  • Chairside assistance during dental procedures
  • Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
  • Take radiographs and CBCTs
  • Provide post-op instructions and patient education
  • Record and manage dental charting and patient histories
  • Support front desk operations when needed

Preferred Experience:

  • 1+ year as a dental assistant (not required but a plus)
  • Knowledge of dental systems, anatomy, and terminology
  • Familiarity with infection control and aseptic technique
  • Experience with medical documentation and patient care coordination

What We Offer:

  • Competitive pay based on experience
  • Paid time off and holidays once full-time
  • Weekends off
  • Supportive team environment
  • Opportunities to grow with the practice

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited dental assistant program (preferred)

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Employee discount
  • Opportunities for advancement
  • Paid training

Work Location: In person
