Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment possessing excellent interpersonal skills such as establishing positive relationships with our team and patients
- Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in writing with a service-oriented approach
- Take dental radiographs/x-rays when prescribed along with all other dental assisting tasks
- Motivated to learn more and provide the best patient care at all times
- Radiography/ X-RAY certification for respective state
- Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patient
Responsibilities
- As the Dental Assistant, you will ensure excellent customer service, assist the administrative team, and perform basic dental tasks
- Welcome customers to the dental office and schedule appointments as needed
- Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
- Set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
