The Role

We are looking for a motivated Dental Assistant to join our busy, growing team. You will work chairside with our dentists and hygienists across a wide range of procedures, keeping operatories running smoothly and patients comfortable from check-in to check-out. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants real hands-on experience in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Provide chairside assistance during exams, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and other procedures
• Take and expose digital x-rays accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and break down operatories between patients, maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Sterilize instruments and uphold strict infection control protocols at all times
• Take impressions, photos, and bite registrations as directed
• Assist with patient seating, comfort, and communication throughout each visit
• Chart treatment notes and update patient records in dental software
• Prepare trays and materials for procedures in advance
• Support front desk coordination and schedule flow during high-volume periods
• Assist with lab tasks, including pouring models and preparing cases for outside labs

What You Bring

• Current radiography (x-ray) certification — required
• Current CPR/BLS certification — required
• Ohio Dental Assistant registration — required
• 1+ year of chairside dental assisting experience — preferred; new grads with externship experience welcome
• Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Warm, friendly chairside manner with a genuine care for patients
• Dependable, punctual, and a true team player
• Familiarity with Open Dental or similar practice management software — a plus
