Dental Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our private endodontic practice in South Tulsa. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while ensuring the smooth operation of our endodontic practice. Willingness to learn and improve skills/responsibilities over time is essential, and opportunities for increased pay may be available as skills and responsibilities are increased.

Responsibilities

• Assist the endodontist during procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and CBCT.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Educate patients on endodontic procedures and post-treatment care.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is required. Previous experience assisting endodontics is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is essential.
• Understanding of infection control protocols within a dental clinic setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Must be willing to learn.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
