Dental Assistant – 12 Hours/Week (Tues, Wednesday) | 401(k) Match

Schedule:

Beginning 6/8/2026

• Tuesdays : 10AM – 4:00 PM
• Thursdays: 10AM – 4:00 PM
• Floating hours
• Weekly Total:
• 12 paid hours/week
• Additional Hours possible on Mondays 7:30- 4:30, Thursdays 10-7 if interested
• Additional hours as patient base increases (dental startup)

Pay: $18–$20 per hour, based on experience and certifications. Utica Dental is a modern, patient-centered private practice searching for a friendly, reliable Dental Assistant to join our growing team. This position provides a consistent two-day workweek, a supportive and positive work environment, and the opportunity for additional summer hours as the practice grows.

What You’ll Do

• Assist the dentist with restorative, preventive, and basic surgical procedures
• Prepare, organize, and turn over operatories efficiently
• Take digital x-rays and maintain accurate patient charting
• Follow sterilization, OSHA, and infection-control protocols
• Support inventory management and basic lab tasks
• Offer occasional front desk assistance when needed
• Help create a warm, welcoming, and comfortable experience for every patient

What We’re Looking For

• Dental Assistant certification or relevant chairside experience (new grads welcome!)
• Ohio Radiology Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and patient-focused
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn new systems and work in an analog or digital environment
