New start up office! Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! Duties

  • Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and supplies for various dental procedures
  • Assist dentists chairside during examinations, restorations, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other treatments
  • Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced equipment such as 3D scanners and medical imaging tools
  • Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment
  • Manage patient records accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft while maintaining HIPAA compliance
  • Educate patients on dental procedures, post-treatment care, and oral health practices in a friendly manner
  • Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and coordinating with the dental receptionist to optimize clinic flow

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy
  • Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, taking vital signs, and medical documentation
  • Familiarity with EMR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic for managing medical records and coding procedures
  • Knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures
  • Ability to operate dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners confidently
  • Strong understanding of pediatric dentistry principles and experience working with children is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and collaborate with the dental team
