Dental Assistant

Experienced Dental Assistant – Full-Time

Hickory Smiles Dental Care is seeking a reliable, motivated, and experienced Dental Assistant to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who is professional, compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos
• Record clinical notes and update patient charts
• Educate patients on treatment and oral health care
• Assist with impressions, scans, and temporary restorations
• Maintain infection control and OSHA compliance standards
• Help create a positive and welcoming patient experience

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience preferred
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
• Digital X-ray certification required
• Experience with Eaglesoft (or similar dental software) preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
