Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments and materials are ready for patient care
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as permitted by state regulations
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Record and update patient information accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
- Support the front office team when needed
- Help create a positive and comfortable experience for every patient
Qualifications
- Dental assisting experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Current certifications as required by state regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Positive attitude and professional appearance
- Eagerness to learn new skills, technologies, and procedures
