Dental Assistant

We are seeking a skilled 5 star Dental Assistant to join our small private practice team! Monday-Thursday 8am-5:30pm. The ideal candidate should possess a range of dental and administrative skills to support our dental practice effectively.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Set up and prepare treatment rooms for procedures
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and process X-rays
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Conduct various lab duties including making impressions of patients' teeth
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment processes
- Perform receptionist duties when needed

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Familiarity with medical documentation systems and terminology
- Ability to perform patient assessments and take X-rays
- Experience with Dentrix is a plus
- Proficiency in infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations
- CPR Certified
