Dental Assistant

About us

Nuckols Family Dentistry is a family dental clinic located in Glen Allen

Duties:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
- Provide administrative support, including medical documentation and coding

Experience:

- At least 1+Yr of experience is required
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Familiarity with medical coding and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software is beneficial
- Ability to perform patient assessments and record medical histories accurately
- Proficiency in managing and organizing medical records, including using electronic health record systems like Epic

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
