Dental Office Assistant Duties:

• Focusing on Patient Safety and Team Safety as priority one
• Adhering to OSHA and Infection Control Protocols, and disposing of sharps and clinical waste in a prompt and safe manner
• Preparing tray set-ups according to doctor preferences and planned procedures
• Ensuring that exam rooms and operatories are cleaned, disinfected, and organized.
• Charting existing treatment for new patients by updating the patient chart with entries for fillings, crowns, sealants, etc.
• Taking diagnostic quality X-Rays and attaching them to the patient chart.
• Ability to communicate clearly with team and doctors
• Making patients feel comfortable during their visit.

Dental Office Assistant Qualifications:

• Some dental assistant experience required
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work well with a team and ask for help when needed
• Self-motivated
• Detail Oriented

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
