Dental Assistant at Pediatric Dental Practice

A rarely available opportunity to join a successful pediatric dental office in Darien, CT! Lil' Dente Pediatric Dentistry is looking to hire a warm and energetic dental assistant to join our practice

Responsibilities and Duties:
-Assist in the setup and breakdown of dental procedures
-Help create a positive and engaging visit for parents and the children
- Perform various office tasks as needed
-Be a team player and help other team members as needed
-Dental assistant duties such as assisting, x-rays, perform oral hygiene instruction, note taking
-Help assist in training team members as needed
-Perform sterilization procedures for dental equipment and instruments and maintain accurate records
- Ensure proper handling and storage of sterilized items
-Performs duties in a manner consistent with Lil' Dente Pediatric Dentistry’s Mission, Vision, and Values to ensure accomplishment of objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:

-CPR, ICE certification, Radiation certification
- At least one year of dental assisting experience*
- Comfortable working with children and families
- Knowledge of standard dental practice concepts and procedures
- Excellent customer service skills and hospitality
- Hard working, outgoing, adaptable, self-motivated, and punctual
- Ability to learn on the job and work well with a dynamic team

*Experience with dental assisting is preferred although not required.

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
