We are seeking a dental assistant to join our team! Our office is an established privatley owned office with an excellent team, patients, and dentists. Our office schedules ample amount of time for our patients so we can provide top notch care. We recently renovated our office to have a brand new interior as well as all of the latest technology. Our ideal candidate will have previous assisting experience and RDA's are strongly encouraged to apply. Please do not contact our office directly and only apply through this ad. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a sterile and organized environment.
- Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
- Take and develop X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients.
- Support pediatric dentistry efforts by creating a welcoming atmosphere for young patients.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a dental clinic is preferred.
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental management systems is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical documentation, coding, and HIPAA compliance is essential.
- Familiarity with general dentistry practices as well as pediatric dentistry is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
