Duties
- Assist dentist during a wide range of procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency.
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and sterilization protocols following aseptic technique and infection control standards.
- Take and develop X-ray images, ensuring proper positioning and safety measures in line with HIPAA regulations.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes as a dental receptionist, including scheduling appointments and updating medical records using EMR systems such as Eaglesoft.
- Support clinical staff by managing inventory, sterilization of instruments, and ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.
- Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and processing payments efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
