Dental Assistant/ EDDA

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Periodontic Dental Assistant to join our Periodontic specialty practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside board-certified periodontists in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment focused on advanced surgical care and dental implant therapy.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist the periodontist during surgical procedures including implants, extractions, grafting, and soft tissue procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories in accordance with OSHA and infection control protocols
• Take digital radiographs and CBCT scans as needed
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
• Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and documentation
• Support team flow and contribute to a positive, efficient work environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous dental assisting experience required; periodontal or surgical experience preferred
• Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Radiology certification (required per state regulations)
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Experience with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar) is a plus
