We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team, working between our two office locations in Wayne and Kinnelon, New Jersey

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in various dental procedures, sterilization and xrays.

Responsibilities:
Dental Assisting, sterilization, inventory

Duties

· Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry

techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.

· Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms

· Ensuring all necessary materials are ready for procedures.

· Take Dental x-rays and CBCT scans

· Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.

· Perform administrative tasks as needed, including managing inventory of dental supplies.

· Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements

· Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, but we welcome candidates who are eager to learn.

· Strong organizational skills

· Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills –

· A valid NJ xray license required

· Familiarity with dental management software is highly desirable.

· Knowledge of medical documentation practices and HIPAA compliance is essential.

· Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

· Attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent patient care are critical for success in this role.

· Team player with a positive attitude

· Ability to work in a fast paced environment

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a major plus

Hours Monday thru Friday ^;45am to 4pm One Saturday per month 6:45-12
