We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. This position is ideal for a professional who is passionate about patient care, works efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment, and has a strong understanding of modern dental procedures and office workflow.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on dental assisting experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with doctors, hygienists, and administrative staff to provide exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, crown and bridges including fabrication and adjustments of temporaries, endodontic, oral surgery, Implants and Ortho-related procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before patient appointments
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with OSHA and CDC standards
- Take digital X-rays, take intraoral pictures, perform digital scanning and ensure proper documentation in patient charts
- Accurately update and maintain electronic patient records and treatment notes
- Provide patients with pre-operative and post-operative instructions
- Maintain efficient patient flow and assist in managing the daily clinical schedule
- Ensure patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering clinical supplies when necessary
- Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling and patient communication
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of dental assisting experience required
- Bilingual candidates, Spanish and English speakers preferred
- Dental Assistant certification preferred
- Proficiency with digital charting and Dentrix dental software system
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy office environment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Experience assisting in multiple specialties
- Strong patient relationship and customer service skills
- Ability to anticipate doctor needs during procedures
- Comfortable educating patients regarding treatment and oral hygiene
